The Jordanian Air Force airdropped aid, including food, medicine, and medical supplies, into the Gaza Strip in coordination with Israel. According to reports, the Jordanians used a GPS-based Precision Airdrop Delivery System (JPADS) to ensure the supplies reached their intended recipients.

The Jordanian Armed Forces announced that its government operates a field hospital in the Gaza Strip, and the IDF confirmed that the supply airdrop was conducted in coordination with Israel. The Jordanian Air Force shared photographs of a C-130 transport aircraft, containing equipment and packages, which included the precision airdrop system manufactured by the US.

According to an article in War Zone, the Americans developed a precision airdrop system, incorporating guided parachutes that can be directed with a GPS navigation system. The system incorporates parachutes that can be guided with a navigation system into which the coordinates of the desired airdrop location are entered.

The equipment is released from an altitude of 24,500 feet, and the parachute glides a few kilometers before landing at the desired location. In the operation in Gaza, the Jordanian Air Force aimed for the equipment to land as close as possible to the Gaza field hospital to ensure it reached its destination quickly.
