The Finnish-Norwegian company Patria is presenting its Patria 6X6 heavy-wheeled Armored Personnel Carrier at the Eurosatory 2024 exhibition currently being held in Paris. The exhibition features a 6X6 mortar-carrying vehicle equipped with a Patria Nemo 120 mm mortar turret.

Last May, we reported that the Finnish Army will purchase heavy Patria 6X6 armored vehicles as part of the Common Armored Vehicle System (CAVS) program. The initial phase of the acquisition will involve obtaining one pre-series vehicle and 20 Kongsberg remote weapon stations, which will be integrated into the vehicles. Alongside Finland, the program currently involves Latvia, Sweden, and Germany. Launched in 2020, the collaborative effort has resulted in around 700 orders for Patria 6X6 vehicles.

In addition, the company is presenting the AMV XP 8X8 model. This modular model can come in different configurations such as an infantry fighting vehicle, an Armored Personnel Carrier (APC), a command and control vehicle, an ambulance, a recovery vehicle, a 120 mm Patria Nemo mortar carrier, and even an amphibious vehicle. A model with John Cockerill's JCD 3030 modular turret equipped with a 30 mm cannon is also displayed at the exhibition.
