Spanish defense media reports another advancement in strengthening security ties between Israel and Morocco. The Zona Militar website states that the Israeli company BlueBird will soon commence local production of its own UAVs. The CEO, Ronen Nadir, confirmed to the Spanish website that the company has already established a factory, with production slated to commence shortly.

In February 2023, Israel and Morocco inked a $500 million agreement for the supply of Barak MX missile systems from Israel Aerospace Industries. Before this, in 2022, Morocco acquired SkyLock Dome anti-drone systems from the Israeli company SkyLock.

The Spanish website highlights that following Morocco's acquisition of 150 WanderB and ThunderB UAVs from Bluebird in September 2022, it is currently exploring the procurement of additional Israeli unmanned systems, particularly BlueBird's Spy X loitering munition systems.
