That's a Wrap for Cyberech Europe 2023

The leading cyber conference and B2B networking platform returned to Rome once more to explore innovation and new possibilities in cyber technology with European leaders and pioneering enterprises

Following a highly successful fifth edition in 2022, Cybertech Global, the cyber industry’s foremost B2B networking platform conducting industry-related events all around the globe, returned to Rome this week for its 2023 event, held in partnership with leading global aerospace, defense, and security actor Leonardo.

The two-day event, held on Tuesday and Wednesday of this week at the La Nuvola Convention Center, included a grand exhibition hall, cutting-edge conferences and lectures, and sector-specific special events with the most influential and eminent leaders in cyber fields.

The event offered participants engagement with the most innovative approaches to cyber by some of the most prominent experts and companies from the industry while creating new business opportunities.

The central themes of this year’s conference were the latest in protection and security with topics including active defense and zero-trust while providing a window into the future with super tech and next-gen technologies like advanced machine learning and AI.

Regional and industry-specific sessions focused on various topics such as cloud security, fin-sec, space, critical infrastructures, maritime and transportation security, and cyber investments, and explore the EU Cybersecurity Strategic Framework and European Cyber Defence projects, including AI for Cyber & Cyber for AI, and Fintech Security.

In addition, as we navigate the 2023 European Year of Skills, the event also explored the cybersecurity skills shortage, competence, and the role of diversity and fostering new talents.

Cybertech Europe 2023 was proud to host the most esteemed people in the cyber sector: global leaders, authoritative experts, decision-makers, CISOs, C-level executives, industry pioneers from Europe and around the world, and guests' innovative startups showcasing next-generation technologies. The event is also honored by the participation of significant European bodies and organizations. These include the European Commission, NATO, the European Defence Agency (EDA), the European Space Agency (ESA), the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), Italy’s National Cybersecurity Agency (ACN), the European Cyber Security Organisation (ECSO), Women4Cyber Foundation, and more.
