Tactical vehicle producer AM General secures $458 mil in Army Humvee component contracts

The delivery is initially scheduled to be made over a three-year period

According to the GovCon Wire website, vehicle manufacturer AM General has landed a pair of contracts worth a combined $458 million from the Defense Logistics Agency to supply parts for the U.S. Army's High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicles, known as Humvees, powered by diesel. The agency awarded the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-quantity contracts with a three-year base period, followed by two one-year options.
