Art of the Handgun

One of the best comprehensive handbooks for beginners

In straightforward language with images and illustrations, it takes the reader through the basic but important knowledge that one should know before squeezing the trigger for the first time.

The basic nature of the book is intentional. It is aimed at people who bought their first handgun or for those who, after releasing a few rounds, realized they didn’t know the basics.

The two writers identify the sequence of facts needed to handle a handgun safely and efficiently.

Methodically, they take the reader along an interesting path that touches on all facets of using a handgun.

Despite the technical and professional terms (that are thankfully, used correctly) the authors manage to use simple and easy-to-understand language.

The many quality images and drawings also make the explanations easy to understand. The book features images of the most popular handguns in the market accompanied by their characteristics.

I found it very useful, focused, and easy to read. Again, this is a useful basic instruction book. Even the chapters meant for “advanced shooting” are basics, but again, very useful.

Its simple approach, sophisticated editing, and use of images will make it a nice addition to the library of any handgun enthusiast.
