MCTECH RF Technologies Ltd., an Israeli developer and manufacturer of high-end RF jamming and counter-drone solutions, has announced that following the recent successful delivery of the MC-2000 VRF 5G in an Eastern Asian country, the company has secured another multi-million-dollar project tender. This new project involves supplying the MC-2000 VRF 5G, a counter RCIED & Drone solution designed to protect both moving and stationary vehicles.

According to the company, the MC-2000 VRF 5G is an advanced countermeasure system specifically engineered to neutralize threats from remote-controlled improvised explosive devices (RCIEDs) and drones. This innovative solution leverages cutting-edge technology to ensure the safety of military and security personnel, providing robust protection against evolving threats in diverse operational environments.

Ido Bar Oz, Chief Marketing Officer of MCTECH, emphasized the critical need for such technology: “Especially today on the battlefield, it is essential to protect convoys against a variety of threats such as remote-controlled improvised explosive devices (RCIEDs), particularly drone and UAV attacks. The MC-2000 VRF 5G is a state-of-the-art jammer capable of handling both threats simultaneously—neutralizing RCIEDs while preventing drone attacks and other threats—by jamming all relevant communications. Importantly, it also has the capability to open communication windows for our own forces.
