The Spanish Army recently purchased a batch of 15 new semi-automatic Barrett precision rifles in caliber 12.70 x 99 mm for almost 450,000 euros.

Deliveries of the rifles will take place before the end of November 2022, but the army announcement does not mention to which unit or units the rifles will be assigned.

The rifle is in service in the army (M95SP model), in the Air Force and also in the Navy, specifically in the Marine Corps. Among the units that have this weapon are the Special Operations Command (MOE) and the Parachute Brigade (Bripac).
