EuroSpike, a joint venture between Diehl Defense, Rheinmetall Electronic and Rafael for the production and marketing of the Spike missiles family in Europe, announced that it received an order for more than 500 Spike SR missiles plus associated equipment such as training missiles, backpacks, etc. from the Estonian Centre for Defense Investment (ECDI).

This order is part of a €40 million deal signed in 2019 to supply 18 spike launchers systems to the Estonian army for a period of 7 years, with the launchers already delivered during 2020. The agreement includes an option to purchase additional launcher systems.

The Spike SR is a lightweight, shoulder-launched, fully operational Fire and Forget (F&F) anti-tank missile with an effective range of up to 2000 meters. It was recently reported on IsraelDefense website that the Estonian army conducted a demonstration in September 2020 in which the capabilities of the SPIKE SR missiles were demonstrated.
