Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) announced Tuesday that it signed a letter of intent to engage in cyber defense cooperation projects with the National Coordination Center for Cybersecurity of Ukraine (NCCC).

The two sides agreed on joint activity to formulate cybersecurity methodologies and concepts of the Ukraine National Cyber Operational Center, as well as on international cooperation on technologies for the detection of cyberattacks. The mutual goal of this collaboration is to formulate a cyber defense concept adapted to the NCCC and a national-level capacity building process for Ukraine, according to IAI.

In addition, an IAI team conducted a live presentation of the TAME Range, IAI's advanced cyber competency center, on the technical infrastructure of the NCCC. The demonstration carried out in collaboration with EUROTELECOM LLC was intended to demonstrate advanced capabilities in training cyber professionals and allowing them to practice in an environment of live advanced cyberattacks, the company said.
