Starting yesterday, Israel entered a new round of fighting in Gaza. About 200 rockets were fired towards towns in the south, many of them towards the Gaza border area. The IDF attacked about 130 terror targets.
In the first and second wave of attacks, fighter planes, attack helicopters and other aircraft of the IDF attacked weapon manufacturing sites of the Hamas terror organization.
In the third wave of attacks, targets of the Hamas organization and the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization were attacked, among them Hamas and Islamic Jihad weapons production facilities and military facilities, one of which is the location of the home of a battalion commander in the Hamas terrorist organization.
In addition, as part of the attacks during the last day, the IDF attacked the organization's military intelligence building and assassinated about 15 militants from the organization. Also, IDF tanks and aircraft attacked other terror targets including two offensive tunnels adjacent to the border fence.
