Crown Prince of Dubai at Cybertech: I look forward to Cybertech 2022 in Dubai

The Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum, attended the Cybertech conference in Dubai, visited the cyber companies at the exhibition, and said that he is looking forward to the next conference in 2022. The Crown Prince was accompanied by Amir Rapaport, the Founder of Cybertech

The Cybertech Dubai conference is drawing special attention, with a variety of senior officials from Israel and Dubai taking part in the conference whose objective is cooperation and sharing information and knowledge in the field of cybersecurity. It was revealed today (Monday) at the conference that the two countries even plan to conduct a joint cyber exercise in the future.  

Alongside the lectures at the conference, there is an exhibition of cyber companies that was visited by the Crown Prince, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid al-Maktoum. The Sheikh, who was born in 1982, is the Crown Prince of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. Hamadan is known by the nickname "Fazza" under which he publishes poetry that he writes, according to the dubaisrael.co.il website. 

In 2006 Hamdan was appointed as chairman of the Dubai executive council. In the beginning of 2008 Hamdan was designated as crown prince. A year later Hamdan was appointed as President of Hamdan Bin Mohammed Smart University. He also serves as chairman of the Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Establishment for young entrepreneurs. He also a member of the Dubai sports council and the committee of the Dubai autism center, according to the website.  

Hamadan is the person who started an initiative to transform the city of Dubai into a "global city of giving and center of tolerance and compassion". In the framework of this initiative Hamadan promotes activities for protecting nature and the environment in the Persian Gulf area. In recent years Hamadan established the Hamadan photography award that was first given in 2011. In 2020 Hamadan was part of Dubai's delegation to the 2020 World Expo, the website said.
