Rockets fired at Israel from Gaza; IDF retaliates 

During the signing of the normalization agreements in Washington, rockets were fired at Israeli population centers, including the city of Ashdod

According to the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, 13 rockets were fired from the Gaza strip into Israeli territory on Tuesday evening. IDF air defense units shot down eight of them. The launches were carried out during the ceremony for the signing of normalization agreements with the UAE and Bahrain in Washington. 

In retaliation, IDF warplanes and other aircraft struck targets of the Hamas terror organization in Gaza. During the attack, about 10 targets including underground infrastructure, a weapons and explosives production factory, and a military facility used for training and missile testing by the Hamas terror organization were struck.  

One of the Hamas rockets fell in Ashdod, leaving one person seriously wounded.
